Okay, I make icons too, but I will never get why people are so hell-bent on "CREDIT OR DIE". I know it's time-consuming sometimes to find pictures and everything, but you know what? We're doing this for fun and not for profit. They are just friggin' pixels, okay? It's not that big of a deal. I can understand wanting people to credit--because sometimes, you see someone's icons and you're all, Oh, hey, I wonder where they found those!, and if they credit all it takes is a few seconds to check their page and it'll lead you to where the maker posts, and so on. But at the same time: PIXELS. It is not worth closing down shop just because someone doesn't credit you. We aren't Stephenie Meyer, pouting over a leaked copy of an unfinished manuscript. That's different. This, on the other hand? Is a wee bit silly. |
